General Information About the Correct Use of Drum Motors:

Drum Motors Are Designed to Minimize Failures:
Drum motors are designed to operate for many years without failure under very challenging working conditions.
Their closed compact system allows drum motors to operate smoothly regardless of environmental conditions.

Important Considerations for Long-term Trouble-Free Use of Drum Motors:

- The drum motor must be selected according to the user's system requirements.
- It must be installed according to the installation manual (installation is extremely simple compared to other systems).
- Timely maintenance is essential: Depending on the type of oil used, the oil should be changed every 10,000 hours at most, while sealing elements and bearings should be replaced every 50,000 hours.

- It must be used correctly:
Drum motors should not be operated without a belt.
Drums that are not operated should have their oil rotated to reach every part at least once every three months.

Just like with other motors, continuously overloading the calculated power can damage the motor.
